Visual Art

Abstract watercolor artwork featuring cut-out silhouettes of birds in blues, greens, and purples, integrated with the background. The design includes elements resembling facial features, blending seamlessly into the vibrant composition.

I began my journey into visual art in 2017, creating sculptural pieces out of my hand-dyed silk. Since then, I have explored graphite, charcoal, pastels, watercolor, colored pencils, inks, and am now exploring acrylics.

The possibilities are endless.

Writing

A dear friend told me a few years ago that my art needs my writing and my writing needs my art. I think there is so much truth to that, because my goal in my work is to communicate my vision of what I believe our world could be (and that vision is beautiful).

I have just released my very first chapbook of poetry, and of course it’s handmade.
